Common questions

What clients ask us first

How much does a bespoke engagement ring cost?

Bespoke engagement rings start from £1,500. Most clients commission in the £3,000 to £12,000 range, with larger pieces up to £20,000. The setting typically accounts for £800 to £2,500 depending on metal and complexity; the diamond is sized to your budget and preferences. Initial consultations are complimentary and without obligation.

How long does a bespoke ring take to make?

Standard lead time is 3 to 4 weeks from the moment you approve the CAD design. The first consultation to CAD approval usually takes 7 to 10 days. Hallmarking at the London Assay Office is included in that timeline. We don't charge or delay for it.

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

Our diamonds are sourced through established trade suppliers operating under the Kimberley Process, and GIA or IGI certification is available on every centre stone we supply. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and optically identical to natural stones.

Can I reuse stones from an existing piece?

Very often the best brief. Family diamonds, grandmother's engagement ring, an inherited stone that's been sitting in a drawer. We can redesign the setting around it so the piece gets worn again. The old setting can be melted down and the metal credited toward the new work.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, fully insured and tracked. Free UK delivery; international couriers at cost. You'll receive the piece with its hallmark photograph, diamond certificate, and our invoice as proof of value.

Do I need an appointment to visit the studio?

Yes. We work by appointment so we can give you our full attention. Bookings are usually available within 48 hours. Book online, call, or WhatsApp us.

How does payment work?

Your commission begins with a £350 design fee, which covers the CAD design and is credited toward your deposit. Once you approve the CAD, a 50% deposit is due, less the £350 already paid, and the balance is payable before your piece is collected or delivered. For pieces bought directly from the website, you can also pay in instalments with Shop Pay at checkout.

Can I change my mind, and what about refunds?

Because every piece is made to your own specification, commissions are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The design fee and deposit are non-refundable, and once work has begun a commission cannot be refunded. This is why we take the design stage slowly and only move forward once you are happy with the CAD, before any metal is cast.
